In fact, the bulldog is very tolerant and patient when it comes to children. Often times, the bulldog will let the children play with them.

Aside from being very tolerant with children, the bulldog is often tenacious and dominant when it comes to strangers and other dogs. If they put their heart on something, you can expect the bulldog to go after it persistently and aggressively. Keeping Your Bulldog In Check

Your bulldog is generally very tolerant to pain. The bulldog is never known to complain when it is injured, feeling ill, thirsty, hungry or simply feeling cold. Although this tolerant temperament has it advantages, it also has it own disadvantages. For people who do not have the energy or the patient to deal with a headstrong dog like the bulldog, it would be a good idea for you to get a more placid and less domineering type of dog.

Another thing that you should know about the temperament of your bulldog is that your dog has a brooding demeanor but that doesn’t mean that you dog is continuously grouchy. You just have to understand that the bulldog looks just like that – brooding and stern. However brooding and stern does your bulldog looks, your dog is actually very alert and aware of everything that goes on around it and it can be very playful too.
